Pretty darn good! Excellent production values, they really built that wall/settlement. I liked how there was no magic involved, yet there still was the character of Merlin.

The story is based on something remotely resembling some data which may have been found to approximate some truth in the general area… roughly. But that doesn’t matter, because it’s a very solid movie with excellent actors and a good story.

Special effects were used mainly for the scenery, not for the battles. The battles were very well executed; you really get to see these actors getting into the frey and hacking people to pieces from both horseback and on the ground.

I liked it and I’ll probably buy it.
